Dr. Mommy Milk
Dr. Mommy Milk is a breastfeeding medicine resource dedicated to providing well-researched information and thoughtful reflections to mothers and pediatricians.
Her primary goal was to create a blog that she could easily maintain as she encounters new medical articles and new experiences in the field.
Custom templates make creating new blog articles a breeze, seamlessly adding additional blog teasers at the end of each post to entice readers to read more!
This website also integrates email collection, so readers can be notified when a new blog post is live.
I created all branding, including a logo that was a nod to the mission, but didn’t scream “boobs!” I used neutral tones to reflect and celebrate the diversity of skin tones of people who breastfeed, and round shapes throughout the site to mirror the shape of breasts.
This site includes custom coding (CSS) and mobile optimization.
